Stage Whispers January 2025

Hello Friends 

Welcome to the first Stage Whispers of 2025

We hope you had a very Happy Christmas and we wish you all a happy and healthy 2025

2025 is bringing some changes to your committee.  Anthony Deery, our treasurer has has decided to step down and asked for someone to take over his role. After discussion Kate Webster, our Chairperson, has agreed to take on the treasurer role but relinquish her role of Chairperson. It has been agreed by the committee that Pam Broadbent (me!) will take over as Chairperson in her place. We thank Anthony so much for all his work keeping our books in order. Also a huge thank you to Kate for being a fabulous Chairperson. 

 

Our 2024 panto 'Oh No Aladdin ' was a huge success, thank you to all for attending and supporting us. A big thanks goes to all involved both on and off stage and a huge thanks to Ish Herd our fabulous Musical Director. 

Now we are into 2025 we move onto our April production which like last year will be a collection of one act pieces, the committee felt this was a good option so we can include as many members as possible and introduce new directors. The read through of the plays will take place on Monday 20th January at the Easingwold FC on Stillington Road  at 7.30pm 

We are always looking for new members not only on stage but in supporting roles such as costume, props, technical and Front of House, so please pass  the word around and if you know of anyone who can help, please do contact us!
